The complete refurbishment of this protected commercial property providing office accommodation over four levels.

Le Marchant House

Tyrrell Dowinton Architects were tasked to modernise the existing protected building following the previous tenant vacating the building. TDA simplified the layout providing a large and welcoming reception with a spiral feature staircase and lift lobby. Within the large open plan office floors the old plant room that was located centrally within the second floor office space was removed and a glazed atrium was created that punched through to the first floor providing natural light to the heart of the open plan office area. TDA created individual toilets on each floor and showers on the lower floor to encourage active travel as well as secure bicycle parking. As part of the modifications disabled access was provided to all areas of the building with the inclusion of an accessible shower and accessible toilets on all floors.
